Member Schools & Families;
By now, we are all more and more aware of the novel (new) coronavirus, or COVID-19,
that has arisen in certain parts of the United States.
Please know that we will be in contact with each of our member schools in order to
answer their questions about your student’s planned class trip. We will first focus our
communication on trips going this spring, starting with March departures and then on to
April, May and June departures.
We are in contact with state and local health agencies for the latest updates and are
taking guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Administration, the
World Health Organization, and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases,
headed by the renowned American immunologist, Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Prodigy Student Travel takes the safety and well-being of our schools/students very
seriously. We’ve safely and efficiently navigated our travelers through major
disruptions over the past 20 years, including the events of 9/11, the escalation of war
with Iraq, the SARS outbreak of 2003, the Washington DC sniper, and the H1-N1
outbreak in 2009, as well as government closures and weather events. We have taken
over 115,000 students on tours since our inception in May of 2000, each with their
safety and well-being as our top priority.
